Split-treatment referrals for clients who need a prescriber alongside ongoing therapy. You keep the therapy relationship; we handle evaluation and medication.

Students 13 and older, case-managed clients, and families needing psychiatric access without a long waitlist. Guardian involvement is built into our intake for minors.

A named staff member acknowledges every referral within one business day and tells you whether we can take the patient.
We close the loop
You hear back after the patient is contacted and again after the initial evaluation is scheduled, so a referral never disappears into a black hole.
Clear scope
We provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and therapy for ages 13 and up. We are not a crisis or emergency service, and we do not provide court-ordered evaluations.
HIPAA-conscious intake
Records submitted through our portal are encrypted, emailed to the clinical team, and automatically deleted after seven days. Nothing is stored in the website database.

Hospitals, discharge planners, primary care and OB/GYN offices, therapists, counselors, school counselors, case managers, and community organizations across Illinois. Patients and families may also self-refer through our consultation request.
How fast will my referral be answered?
A member of our team acknowledges every referral by the next business day and confirms whether the patient is a fit for our services.
What patients do you accept?
Patients age 13 and older who are physically located in Illinois. Visits are by secure telehealth statewide, with in-person availability in Oak Park.
Do you accept post-hospital discharge referrals?
Yes. Post-discharge psychiatric follow-up is handled as a routine scheduled appointment. Send the discharge summary and current medication list with the referral so we can prioritize appropriately.
How should records be sent?
Use the secure referral portal at sanevihs.com/referrals to attach documents, or fax records to (708) 919-5735. Documentation may also be directed to docs@sanevihs.com with appropriate patient authorization.
What insurance do you accept?
Most major plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, and Meridian. Reduced self-pay options are available to qualifying individuals.
Which communities do you serve?
Our Oak Park office serves patients from River Forest, Forest Park, Elmwood Park, Berwyn, Maywood, Chicago's West Side, and communities across Cook County. Telehealth visits are available to any patient physically located in Illinois.
