When worry stops feeling manageable.

Anxiety is one of the most common reasons people reach out to us. It can show up as a constant hum of worry, sudden panic, physical tension, or avoidance of things you used to do easily.

What this can look like

  • Racing thoughts or worry you can't turn off
  • Trouble falling or staying asleep
  • Tight chest, shortness of breath, or panic episodes
  • Avoiding calls, meetings, driving, or social settings
  • Muscle tension, headaches, or GI upset without a clear cause

How we help

  • 60-minute new-patient evaluation to understand history, triggers, and goals
  • Medication management when helpful, with clear conversation about benefits and side effects
  • Coordination with a therapist for CBT, exposure work, or trauma-informed therapy
  • Follow-up visits at the cadence your care needs — not a rigid template

Private self-check

Anxiety self-check (GAD-7)

Over the last 2 weeks, how often have you been bothered by the following problems?

This short check-in is based on the GAD-7, a widely used anxiety screener. It's a starting point — not a diagnosis. Only a clinician can interpret your results in context.

For teens 13–17: A parent or guardian is typically involved in scheduling and the first visit after you submit this self-check. If you're in crisis, please call or text 988 instead of waiting for an email.

  1. 1.Feeling nervous, anxious, or on edge

  2. 2.Not being able to stop or control worrying

  3. 3.Worrying too much about different things

  4. 4.Trouble relaxing

  5. 5.Being so restless that it's hard to sit still

  6. 6.Becoming easily annoyed or irritable

  7. 7.Feeling afraid, as if something awful might happen

Frequently asked

Questions about anxiety & panic care

How do I know if I need psychiatric care for anxiety?
If anxiety is interfering with sleep, work, relationships, or daily activities — or if you've tried therapy and want to explore medication — a psychiatric evaluation can clarify what's going on and what will actually help. Our GAD-7 self-check is a quick way to gauge severity.
Do you treat panic attacks?
Yes. We evaluate and treat panic disorder alongside generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and health anxiety, using a combination of medication management and coordination with therapists trained in CBT and exposure work.
Can I be seen for anxiety over telehealth in Illinois?
Yes. Sanevi Health Solutions offers secure video visits to patients located anywhere in Illinois, with the same 60-minute new-patient evaluation as in-person visits in Oak Park.
Is the GAD-7 self-check a diagnosis?
No. The GAD-7 is a validated screening tool, not a diagnostic test. Only a clinician can interpret your score in the context of your history, medical health, and life circumstances.
